The highlights of the tour are: Alexander Nevski Cathedral – the biggest one in Bulgaria and according to many – the most spectacular building in Sofia, The Holy Synod, St. Sofia Church, The Bulgarian National Gallery for Foreign Art, The National Library, The National Palace of Culture, The Earth and Man National Museum, The Boris’ Garden – the biggest among Sofia parks and the Eagle’s Bridge, The monument of Vassil Levski - a great Bulgarian national hero, the Council of Ministers, the 16th century Banya Bashi Mosque, St. Nedelya – old metropolitan church, The Administration of the President and the National Archeological Museum, the former Royal Palace (now housing the National Revival Art Gallery and the Ethnographic Museum) The National Assembly Square, where in the middle of the square sits the impressive Tsar Osvoboditel (King Liberator) monument erected in 1907 by the Italian sculptor Arnoldo Zocchi.
